Tulip has since 2006 managed all expense accounting electronic through Acubiz EMS. That has given the food producer faster and more precise expense accounts, greater clarity and they've been able to maintain an observation.

The promises were fulfilled
It was exactly because of the promises of such advantages, which were decisive on choosing Acubiz EMS, according to group chief accountant Tommy Jensen:

"We chose to invest in Acubiz EMS because we wanted a faster and smoother handling of expense accounts. Our manual procedures were very protracted and they involved that the settlement of the individual enclosures were done in different pace. And we weren't able to maintain an observation, says Tommy Jensen, who now witnesses that they've got their act together:

"It used to be a cattle market to get the enclosures handled on time when we had a short deadline. We're past that now when everything is done electronic. The individual enclosure is now carried out to the debit side instantly after it's in the system. And today we're able to maintain an observation over the individual travels" says Tulip's group chief accountant.

Tommy Jensen stresses that Acubiz EMS has solved a big problem in conjunction with settlement of flights:

He stresses that "Our flights were entered in four different secretaries before we got Acubiz EMS implemented, this made it impossible to spread the expenses on cost centres. We weren't able to maintain an observation over how much we needed to enter the different places. Today we've rectified the imbalance. Today we're able to see what the individual travels cost in total as soon as the executive has approved the enclosures. That's a big strength!"

Good dialogue and a good collaboration
The implementation of Acubiz EMS has altogether given a big return, and Tommy Jensen is pleased with the performance of the system and the supplier of the system:

Tommy Jensen ends off by saying "We're very pleased with the system and the collaboration we've had with Acubiz. We've chosen a complicated solution, which has given some challenges once in a while. But we've passed them in close dialogue with Acubiz, who has been ready to meet our wishes and demands".
