We’ll soon welcome 2022. A year that undoubtedly will be one of the more interesting in the history of Acubiz. We’ve just become part of the Visma family and this has implied a change of name; we’re now named Visma Acubiz. With our new first name, Visma, we’re standing on a new and incredibly interesting platform when it comes to the possibilities for developing our products and services and growing and scaling our business in 2022 and the years ahead. Before 2022 begins, we would like to take this opportunity to look back on the current year, thank you for our cooperation and wish you a Merry Christmas.
An eventful 2021
The impact of COVID-19 this year has been significant in our society and therefore also in Acubiz. Our business is, among other things, performing well when our customers’ employees are travelling around the world – or at least within the country’s borders. COVID-19’s influence is reflected in the number of transactions flowing through our solutions. In the first half of 2021, the number of transactions was lower than under normal circumstances, but from June, activity really started to return, and now we are back at the level of transactions we saw before COVID-19 – and even above.
In 2021, we entered partnerships with many partners in both Finland and Denmark, we launched a lot of new features to all our solutions and services, we held Acubiz Summit where more than 400 finance professionals participated and much more. In other words, 2021 has been a productive year in which we have managed to take great strides forward and lift all parts of our business.
We’ve become part of the Visma family
As mentioned we’ve got a new first name. We’re changing our logo as well. Those changes will also be followed by changes on our website and in our future communication. However, the most important thing for you, our wonderful customers, is our solutions and services. They will stay the same. Our software remains as you know it. Naturally, it will be spiced up with new features and general improvements. Your contacts and other contact points will also remain the same.
Becoming part of Visma will help us in our continuous work with developing and delivering the best solution for managing expenses, mileage, invoices, time tracking etc. We’ll get access to a lot of new resources in the Visma Group. Resources that will help us further develop and optimize our portfolio of solutions and services. It will also benefit our customers – in 2022 and beyond.
We look forward to 2022
2022 will also be the year we launch our new financial interface, which will undoubtedly be the highlight of the year. A finance interface that has been upgraded in all areas compared to the current one – both in terms of performance, user-friendliness and the ability to customize the setup based on your own preferences. Then add new functionalities to many of our various solutions. All of this contributes to us facing an exciting 2022 on the development front.
Also, let’s look at the organizational part of Visma Acubiz. We anticipate growth in the coming years, and as a natural consequence of that, we must also develop and adapt the organization with new faces and competencies. Much more on that later. We’ll keep you informed.
