On the last day of February this year, Great Prayer Day was abolished as a public holiday from 2024 by a majority in the Danish Parliament. At Visma Acubiz, however, we still believe that warm wheat buns should be enjoyed on a day off.
As a private company, we have therefore chosen that the public holiday will remain a day off for all employees in the future.
For our employees, Great Prayer Day is a respite in a busy everyday life. In addition, it is of course also an important part of our shared cultural heritage and history. We look into a future where we have to stay longer and longer on the labor market. Therefore, we do not think it makes sense to cut down on all of our days off and holidays.

A popular decision among employees
The decision has, not surprisingly, been well received by the employees:
It's really nice to have that kind of appreciation. I think that we run fast already, and Great Prayer Day is one of the days when we have the opportunity to relax and take time off. So I'm just really happy.

It goes without saying that it is of course nice to keep Great Prayer Day as a day off. It's really cool that one's employer goes to such lengths for us employees.

Initiatives to create an attractive workplace
It must be fun to work at Visma Acubiz, and our employees must feel that we offer attractive conditions
It is crucial for Visma Acubiz to be an attractive workplace for skilled employees. Salary is often considered the most important competitive parameter. It is certainly also important, but fortunately many other factors also play a role - such as the above mentioned holiday. We have previously, in connection with the implementation of the new maternity law, chosen to offer 26 weeks of leave with full pay for all employees, as we want to support equality in the labor market
