Acubiz and cycling are closely connected in many ways. We are the sponsor of quite a few Danish cycling athletes, several UCI WorldTeams use Acubiz for managing expenses, and many of our employees are racing the Danish tarmac on a regular basis. We can now also proudly announce a new collaboration with Team BikeExchange, which, amongst other things, means that the team will become users of Acubiz. Team BikeExchange is also part of the UCI WorldTour and they will participate in the world’s biggest and most prestigious cycling races over the coming season. With Acubiz on the team, to facilitate efficient handling of their expenses, all the way from registration to bookkeeping, the whole team – and especially the administrative functions – will be awarded with more time to support the pursuit of success on the roads.
As for any other organization, it is absolutely necessary to rethink the financial and administrative processes from time to time, and to examine whether it is possible to improve them through digitization and automation. This also applies for a professional cycling team. And Team BikeExchange has been going through exactly that exercise. They searched the market for a solution that could provide them with an easier, more digital, and more automated way of handling all their many different types of expenses. We are proud that they chose to collaborate with Acubiz.
Slow and cumbersome workflows are not, in any way, ideal in a highly professional elite environment. This is obviously true for all types of organizations. However, on an ambitious sports team, like Team BikeExchange, it is particularly important that everyone stay focused on the goals and are given the best conditions for delivering stellar performance. Team BikeExchange has a Danish touch on the team roster in the shape of Christopher Juul-Jensen. Furthermore, they made very positive notice of themselves at last year’s Tour de France, where the team wore the yellow jersey for four consecutive days. Acubiz is looking forward to following Team BikeExchange in 2021 and furthermore to welcome them, and the other teams, to Denmark next summer when Tour de France will start from here.
